We don't generally think of geologic catastrophes, like volcanoes and earthquakes, occurring in Nashville.

This field trip will examine evidence of:

• Two earthquakes;

• One major series of volcanic eruptions.

• Stop 1:  earthquake 1:  fault

• Stop 2:  Ordovician volcanic ash

• Stop 3:  earthquake 2:  seismite
